Designed by French designer Jean Nouvels, Torre Agbar is the headquarter of Agoar, a water industry company of Barcelona. Its elevation is extremely innovative, with active aluminium plate installed on the concrete surface composed of 25 kinds of colors. At different time, the surface of the building changes its color from red to blue. It has white dome built of glass and steel, on the front of the building is installed with 60000 glass shutters which comprise an additional external surface to bring interior transparency to the maximum degree and meanwhile provide heat-insulating protection. It was built in 2004 and conferred with the International Prize for Architecture in 2006.
Yaojiang International Plaza in Shanghai Central Business
Located at the most core area in the North Bund planning, it is designed with harmonious and natural features, and its plane structure adopts the enclosed layout, forming a large-area landscape at its center. The halls of residences and meeting places, the pedestrian paths and the waterscapes are spread in an oval circle to form a series of sightseeing spots that combine sights with direction. Each movement of step will bring a different scenery, such four-dimensional ecological community creates an integrated architectural shape and imposing manner.
